The Friction Finder (UX Research Intern) at GoSats will uncover user pain points to ensure the product is intuitive for first-time Bitcoin users. Responsibilities include conducting usability tests, mapping user journeys, synthesizing data into insights, and performing competitive analysis. This role advocates for user-centric design in a fast-growing fintech startup.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct Foundational Usability Testing on core product flows and new features
  • Map the New User Journey from app download to first transaction
  • Synthesize Data into Actionable Insights from user interviews, surveys, and support tickets
  • Perform Strategic Competitive Analysis of crypto exchanges and FinTech rewards apps
  • Present research findings to product managers and designers

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

  • Deep curiosity and empathy with a keen eye for detail
  • Familiarity with fundamental research methodologies (e.g., surveys, interviews, usability testing)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to translate complex human behaviors into actionable recommendations

Nice to Have:

  • Current student pursuing a degree in Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Anthropology, Sociology, or Design Research
