About the Role

Technical Support Engineer role focusing on Purview Compliance within Microsoft's Customer Service & Support organization. Responsibilities include troubleshooting customer technical issues, collaborating on cross-team solutions, and providing product feedback. The role requires expertise in security compliance, enterprise messaging, and cybersecurity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reviews complex issues and contacts customers to understand problems
  • Resolves customer issues through problem solving, collaboration, and research
  • Performs in-depth product troubleshooting and remediation when needed
  • Assists in implementation of end-to-end readiness programs and mentors new engineers
  • Provides feedback to product group for product improvement and identifies process gaps

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

  • 3+ years technical support, technical consulting, or IT experience (or Bachelor's degree with 1+ year)
  • Prior exposure to Exchange or Office 365 (Exchange Online and Security & Compliance)
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Messaging Administrative concepts and Security & Compliance (eDiscovery, DLP, etc.)
  • Background within cybersecurity field (End Point, cloud solutions, regulations and compliance)
  • Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with security compliance protocols
  • Experience and understanding with EndPoint Security tool
