About the Role
Senior Technical Support Engineer role at Microsoft's Customer Service & Support organization. Responsible for troubleshooting complex customer technical issues, collaborating across teams, and driving product improvements. Flexible work arrangement with up to 50% remote work.Key Responsibilities
- Own, investigate and solve complex customer technical issues
- Act as advisor to customers and collaborate across teams
- Lead in building communities and share knowledge through mentoring
- Deepen technical proficiency through training and readiness
- Engage with engineering teams to investigate product defects and drive improvements
Required Skills & Qualifications
Must Have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT or related field AND 3+ years technical experience
- OR 5+ years technical support, consulting or IT experience
- Business level fluency in English
- Ability to pass Microsoft Cloud Background Check
Nice to Have:
- Microsoft Technology Certifications
- Azure cloud and/or Azure Databricks experience
- ETL/Data Engineering experience
