About the Role

System Integration Engineer for AWS Hardware Engineering's Nitro team, responsible for defining and integrating next-generation cloud platforms. The role involves hardware/software system integration from architecture through production, including mechanical design, boot flows, debugging, and production testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Define, shape and integrate solutions for next-generation cloud platforms
• Handle hardware and software system aspects including mechanical design, thermal/power design, signal integrity, boot flows, and recovery flows
• Shape screening test content in production line and data-center, lead debug analysis in fleet
• Define repair instructions to optimize capacity recovery and participate in game-days for new products
• Own product integration methodology definition and documentation

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
• 5+ years experience in Embedded system (ARM, x86, AMD) with HW/SW/SoC development and/or integration
• 3+ years experience with technical project leading practicing with risk management, prioritization, trade-offs, cross teams communication
• Experience with Operating System, boot flow, networking and remote debugging

Nice to Have:

• Experience working with Linux operating systems
• Experience scripting with Python, Perl, Bash or PowerShell
• Server design or integration experience in leading industrial company
