About the Role

This is a Supply Chain Management Intern role at CityFurnish, focusing on warehouse and distribution operations. The intern will manage inventory, oversee vendor processes, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards while working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Warehouse management and compliance with company policies
  • Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct physical counts
  • Draft and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for warehouse/logistics
  • Prepare Excel-based data reports for analysis and decision-making

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

  • Interest in operations, warehouse, and logistics management
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and oral)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong knowledge of MS-Office (especially Excel)

Nice to Have:

  • Ability to work effectively with blue-collar staff
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
