About the Role

Senior Technical Program Manager role supporting AWS service teams in delivering new services and features across multiple regions. Responsible for strategic initiatives, technical requirements, and cross-team coordination to improve cloud operations and developer experience. Requires strong program management background and experience working with engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead strategic initiatives across AWS teams to provide developers with high-impact improvements
• Drive technical requirements, design, and delivery planning for successful launch of initiatives
• Enable transparency and decision-making across AWS senior leadership through clear communication
• Unify distributed engineering efforts and own the plan to deliver high-profile new tools and features
• Assess risks, anticipate issues, and balance business needs and constraints across regions

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
• 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
• 3+ years of software development experience
• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

Nice to Have:

• 8+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
• 6+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
• Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
• Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
