About the Role

The AGI Foundations team seeks a Senior ML Engineer to lead the development of novel algorithms and techniques for advancing Large Language Model training. Responsibilities include collaborating with Applied Scientists on reinforcement learning experiments, scaling machine learning models, and delivering high-quality software in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead development of novel algorithms for LLM training
• Collaborate with Applied Scientists on reinforcement learning experiments
• Scale and optimize machine learning models
• Work in Agile/Scrum environment to deliver software
• Investigate design approaches and prototype new technology

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software language
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture of systems
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team

Nice to Have:

• 5+ years of full software development life cycle experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
