About the Role

Senior Software Development Engineer role focused on building AI-native SDKs and tools for Alexa+ using generative AI and LLMs. The position involves creating software for millions of Echo devices, driving engineering best practices, and influencing technical architecture decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Building software for Echo family devices using latest AI technologies including LLMs
• Taking long-term view of architecture and proactively fixing deficiencies
• Driving engineering best practices (Operational Excellence, Security, Quality)
• Influencing technical decisions and building consensus among team members
• Contributing to professional development of colleagues

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team

Nice to Have:

• 5+ years of full software development life cycle experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
