About the Role

This senior hardware engineer role focuses on designing and validating next-generation ML chips, cards, and server integration for AWS. The engineer will own the design of building block components and server products, working closely with internal and external teams to deliver world-class hardware solutions for AWS data centers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and validate AWS next generation ML Chips, Cards and server integration
• Own the design and execution of new building block components and server products
• Work closely with internal design teams and Design Partner teams worldwide
• Own the integration of multiple bespoke components and rack into AWS's infrastructure
• Provide leadership of new server deployments to deliver a world-class customer experience

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Experience in developing functional specifications, design verification plans and functional test procedures
• 5+ years of relevant work experience with complex accelerator, storage or network server designs
• 3+ years of development experience in hardware/firmware with proven ability to debug PCIe, memory or storage subsystems
• Experience working with interdisciplinary teams to execute product design from concept to production

Nice to Have:

• Master's degree or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Experience in RTL coding and debug, as well as performance, power, area analysis and trade-offs
• Experience with modern ASIC/FPGA design and verification tools
• Experience with SOC bring-up and post-silicon validation
