About the Role

Senior Electrical Engineer role designing and developing electrical systems for Ring hardware devices. Leads complex technical projects, mentors junior engineers, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative hardware solutions. Leverages AI tools to enhance electrical design processes and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead electrical hardware development projects from concept through production
• Design and develop analog and digital circuits for consumer electronics
• Create and review schematics and PCB layouts
• Develop power management solutions and power distribution networks
• Implement high-speed digital interfaces and ensure signal integrity

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical field
• 5+ years of experience in electrical design and development
• Experience in motherboard design, PCB design including schematic capture and circuit board layout
• Experience with analog and digital circuit design

Nice to Have:

• Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent
• Experience with embedded systems
• Knowledge of wireless technologies (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, cellular)
• Advanced knowledge of machine learning applications in electrical design optimization
• Experience implementing AI for automated test pattern generation or fault diagnosis
