About the Role

Lead state-of-the-art ML and Generative AI research to optimize Amazon's Ad Sales business. Build and refine models for production, drive actionable insights, and improve sales workflows. Collaborate with engineers to deploy scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and lead state-of-the-art research on new Machine Learning and Generative AI solutions
• Guide technical approach for design and implementation of models and algorithms
• Conduct deep data analysis to derive business insights and identify opportunities
• Run A/B experiments, gather data, and perform statistical analysis
• Work with software engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions into production

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• 3+ years of building machine learning models for business application experience
• PhD, or Master's degree and 6+ years of applied research experience
• Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language
• Experience with neural deep learning methods and machine learning

Nice to Have:

• Experience with modeling tools such as R, scikit-learn, Spark MLLib, MxNet, Tensorflow, numpy, scipy
• Experience with large scale distributed systems such as Hadoop, Spark
