About the Role

Lead state-of-the-art ML and Generative AI research to optimize Amazon's Ad Sales business. Design and implement models, conduct data analysis, run A/B experiments, and deploy solutions into production. Drive scientific vision and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and lead research on ML and Generative AI solutions for Ad Sales optimization
• Guide technical approach for model design and implementation with cross-functional teams
• Conduct deep data analysis to derive business insights and identify opportunities
• Run A/B experiments, gather data, and perform statistical analysis
• Work with engineers to deliver end-to-end production solutions

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• 5+ years building machine learning models for business applications
• PhD or Master's degree with 6+ years of applied research experience
• Experience programming in Java, C++, Python, or related language
• Experience with neural deep learning methods and machine learning

Nice to Have:

• Experience with modeling tools like R, scikit-learn, Spark MLLib, MxNet, TensorFlow, numpy, scipy
• Experience with large-scale distributed systems like Hadoop, Spark
