About the Role

Lead vulnerability research in Microsoft's Specialized Cloud organization to identify and address security vulnerabilities in cloud and edge services. Conduct penetration testing, threat modeling, and develop proof-of-concept exploits to enhance security posture.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and discover zero-day vulnerabilities in cloud and on-prem environments
• Design and execute sophisticated penetration tests against Microsoft's cloud services
• Conduct in-depth threat modeling exercises to identify security risks
• Create and maintain cutting-edge vulnerability discovery and exploitation tools
• Collaborate with internal security teams to enhance overall security posture

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• Proven track record of discovering and responsibly disclosing security vulnerabilities
• 6+ years of hands-on experience in offensive security research for SENIOR role (4+ years for SWE II)
• 2+ years of focus on cloud environments
• Proficiency in multiple programming and scripting languages
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Advanced degrees (e.g., Master's or PhD) in Computer Science or related field
