About the Role

Solutions Architects at AWS work directly with customers to design cloud solutions and provide technical guidance on AWS technology. They create technical content, lead architecture reviews, and influence long-term technology strategy while building trusted advisor relationships. This role focuses on the Software & Technology segment in Portugal and Spain.

Key Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to accelerate projects and recommend best-practice architectures
• Build technical relationships as a trusted advisor, prioritizing customer interests
• Create and share best practices, technical content, and reference architectures
• Evangelize AWS technology through workshops, public speaking, and events
• Contribute to hiring decisions, mentor team members, and develop technical domains

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• Experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures
• Background in Cloud Architecture, AI, Systems Design, Software Development, Infrastructure Architecture, Data Engineering, or DevOps
• Passion for technology and learning
• Fluency in Portuguese and English (spoken and written)

Nice to Have:

• Fluency in Spanish (spoken and written)
• Experience working within software development
• Experience working with AWS technologies
• AWS certifications and knowledge of AWS services
