About the Role

This is a Cloud & AI Solution Engineer role at Microsoft focusing on helping ISV customers modernize their data platforms. The engineer will drive technical sales, lead hands-on engagements, and build trusted relationships to accelerate adoption of Microsoft's cloud database and analytics stack. They will guide customers through secure, scalable solution design and influence technical decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive technical sales with decision makers using demos and PoCs
• Lead hands-on engagements like hackathons and architecture workshops
• Build trusted relationships with platform leads to co-design architectures
• Resolve technical blockers and collaborate with engineering teams
• Maintain deep expertise in Microsoft's Analytics Portfolio and Azure Databases

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• Experience in technical pre-sales or technical consulting
• Expertise in Azure Databases (SQL DB, Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL) for migration & modernization
• Expertise in Azure Analytics (Fabric, Azure Databricks, Purview) and competitors
• Proven ability to lead technical engagements that drive production-scale outcomes

Nice to Have:

• Experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructure, architecture designs, and migrations
• Proficiency in data warehouse & big data migration including on-prem appliances
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
