About the Role

Software Engineering Intern role at Comena, building AI agents to automate order processing for industrial distributors. As the first hire, you'll work closely with founders to design and build full-stack features, handle customer integrations, and shape the technology stack from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

• Build full-stack features using Typescript frontend and Python backend
• Handle customer data and ERP integrations
• Work closely with founders and customers to translate needs into technical solutions
• Develop and ship core product functionality end-to-end
• Prototype, iterate, and deploy features rapidly

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• High agency and ability to work independently
• Ability to ship full-stack apps quickly without compromising code quality
• Comfortable being client-facing
• Willingness to work very hard beyond traditional 9-5 hours

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Python (Django)
• Experience with Typescript
• Experience with Postgres
• Familiarity with latest LLMs
• Love for startups and fast-paced environments
