About the Role

This role involves building web experiences for Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and AI-powered tools like Copilot in Azure. The engineer will develop features, write code, and ensure system reliability while collaborating with stakeholders. The position requires expertise in web technologies and cloud-native platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Works with stakeholders to determine user requirements for features
• Contributes to design documents and identifies dependencies
• Creates and implements code for products or features
• Breaks down larger work items into smaller tasks and provides estimates
• Acts as on-call DRI to monitor and restore systems for issues

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages like C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience
• 1+ year of experience with web frameworks like React.js, TypeScript & React
• 1+ year of experience with technologies like JSON, AJAX, Kubernetes, and Git
• Ability to pass Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire and every two years

Nice to Have:

• Experience in building, shipping and operating reliable, distributed systems software
• Experience with containers and Kubernetes
• 2+ years of knowledge of data mining, machine learning, or information retrieval
• Ability to learn quickly, strong problem-solving skills, and drive for results
• Commitment to collaboration, teamwork, and delivering via influence
• Self-starter who proactively identifies problems and drives resolution
