About the Role

Software Engineer II role at Viva Glint building scalable, accessible, and high-performing web components using modern frontend engineering practices. The position involves working with engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver solutions that meet business requirements while driving engineering excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders to determine user requirements for features
• Contribute to identification of dependencies and development of design documents
• Create and implement code for Viva Glint services or features
• Break down larger work items into smaller tasks and provide estimations
• Act as Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) for system monitoring and restoration

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience OR equivalent experience
• 3+ years experience shipping production client software
• 3+ years experience building highly performant web applications
• 3+ years experience with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, modern web frameworks, or frontend languages

Nice to Have:

• Master's Degree in Computer Science with 3+ years experience OR Bachelor's with 5+ years experience
• Experience with REACT and Angular
• Experience with web performance optimization techniques
