About the Role

Software Engineer II role focused on developing Azure Edge Computing products and platforms. Responsibilities include building cloud services, distributed systems, and collaborating across teams to manage edge devices at scale. Requires strong software development experience and expertise in cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Developing Cloud Services or Restful services, or Distributed systems
• Able to analyze and clearly articulate complex issues and technologies
• Collaborate across Azure to develop platforms that help simplify the management and monitoring of Edge devices at scale
• Write exemplary code working with large scale distributed systems with quality, simplicity, and maintainability as core tenets
• Drive for quality across the team, mentor and guide others for keeping the bar high

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• 5+ years of experience in Software Development
• Bachelor’s/master's degree or equivalent in Computer science or related field required
• 2+ years of experience designing, developing, deploying, and monitoring cloud services/RESTful service/Distributed system
• A strong Computer Science background with solid C#, Java, C/C++ programming, debugging skills is highly desired

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of Kubernetes and related technologies is strongly preferred
• Experience with AI/ML and LLMs is highly preferred
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, AWS or similar cloud computing platforms is preferred
