About the Role

Front-End Software Engineer role at Salient, an AI workflow automation tool for lenders. Build intuitive interfaces for complex data, working with React and TypeScript. Collaborate with product, design, and AI teams to improve user experience at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement responsive, performant user interfaces using React + TypeScript
• Translate complex workflows into simple, usable product experiences
• Help define frontend architecture and build reusable UI components
• Build data visualizations that make financial data clear and actionable
• Ship clean, testable, maintainable code on a rapid release cycle

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• 4+ years of experience building production front-end applications
• Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, modern JavaScript, and front-end tooling
• Deep understanding of responsive design, browser performance, and accessibility
• Located in (or willing to relocate to) San Francisco

Nice to Have:

• Experience with data visualization libraries (e.g., Chart.js, D3, etc.)
• Customer-obsessed mindset
• Strong sense of ownership and bias for action
