About the Role

Ring is seeking a Software Development Engineer for their AI Team to revolutionize home security by building cloud services for machine learning operation pipelines. The role involves working with petabytes of heterogeneous data and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver world-class AI platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop cloud services for machine learning operation pipelines
• Handle petabytes of heterogeneous data
• Collaborate with Software, Hardware, and Computer Vision Engineers
• Work in an agile environment to deliver world-class AI platforms
• Design and implement distributed systems and web services

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience
• 2+ years of system design experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Nice to Have:

• Fluent in Java and Python
• Experience with machine learning model development
• Experience with GenAI and Agent service development using LLM/VLM
