About the Role

The AGI team seeks a Machine Learning Engineer to develop customization capabilities like fine-tuning and prompt optimization for LLMs. You will lead novel LLM training techniques, collaborate with scientists, and leverage Amazon's resources to advance multimodal generative AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead development of novel LLM training techniques and optimizations
• Collaborate with Applied Scientists to process data and scale machine learning models
• Investigate design approaches, prototype new technology, and evaluate technical feasibility
• Work in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high-quality software

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience for new and existing systems
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Nice to Have:

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
