About the Role

This role involves building high-performance, scalable financial systems for Amazon's Finance Technology team. The engineer will design and develop services handling billions in global financial transactions, working on big data problems using AWS services and distributed systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop services for global financial transactions
• Build highly scalable solutions for accounting/finance teams
• Work on big data problems using AWS services
• Develop and deploy distributed services
• Help create next-generation financial systems

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• 2+ years of design/architecture experience for system reliability and scaling
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• 3+ years of programming with at least one software language

Nice to Have:

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI technologies including AI agents and RAG systems
• Experience implementing and optimizing machine learning models in production
