About the Role

This role is a Software Development Engineer position within Amazon's Hiring Intelligence, Science & Experimentation (HIRISE) team. You will develop core product features for processing analytics at scale, influence product strategy, and drive system architecture using cutting-edge technologies to transform hiring processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead development and launch of core product features for processing analytics at scale
• Have significant influence on overall strategy by helping define product features
• Drive the system architecture
• Spearhead best practices that enable a quality product

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability and scaling)
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• Sound understanding of Computer Science fundamentals and practical experience building large-scale distributed systems

Nice to Have:

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience (coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, operations)
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Demonstrated track record of success in delivering new features and products
