The AGI team seeks a Software Development Engineer with strong machine learning expertise to build customization capabilities for large language models. Responsibilities include developing novel LLM training techniques, collaborating with scientists, and leveraging Amazon's computing resources to advance multimodal AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead development of novel LLM training techniques and optimizations
• Build customization capabilities like fine-tuning, distillation, and prompt optimization
• Collaborate closely with Applied Scientists
• Leverage Amazon's data sources and computing resources
• Deliver reliable, scalable, and high-performance AI products

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of design or architecture experience for new and existing systems
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Nice to Have:

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
