About the Role

Senior Software Engineer role focused on designing and optimizing advertising SDKs for browsers using JavaScript and TypeScript. The position involves tackling technical challenges to ensure seamless integration and high performance across platforms, while collaborating with global teams to build cross-platform solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborates with stakeholders to determine user requirements
• Drives identification of dependencies and development of design documents
• Creates, implements, optimizes, debugs, and refactors code for performance and maintainability
• Leverages expertise to drive project plans and work items with stakeholders
• Acts as Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) to monitor systems and guide engineers

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, HTML OR equivalent experience
• 3+ years experience writing web applications code for browsers, knowledge of browser rendering pipelines, and performance optimization techniques
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including passing Microsoft Cloud background check

Nice to Have:

• Demonstrated expertise in modern JavaScript and TypeScript, including advanced patterns
• Experience building complex, high-performance web applications or SDKs that integrate with large-scale platforms
• Hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue) and state management patterns
• Knowledge of web standards and APIs, including security, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility best practices
• Experience with performance profiling and debugging tools
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing for frontend
