Senior Software Engineer role at Microsoft's Core AI, focusing on building foundational platforms and services for Generative AI. The position involves integrating on-prem products with IBM servers and Azure services, requiring collaboration with stakeholders to design and implement scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborates with stakeholders to determine user requirements
• Drives identification of dependencies and development of design documents
• Creates, implements, optimizes, debugs, refactors, and reuses code
• Designs, documents, implements, tests, and deploys resilient and scalable solutions
• Works with Program Managers to translate business requirements to technical designs

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience
• 1+ years of experience with WebSphere MQ or CICS
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements
• Pass Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter

Nice to Have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science OR related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience
