About the Role

Senior Software Engineer role leading the Employee Self Service Platform Extensibility team at Microsoft. Focuses on developing extensibility features for AI-powered self-service experiences across HR, IT, and Facilities using Microsoft Copilot Studio and BizChat. Requires designing high-scale full-stack systems and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and partner across product teams to develop extensibility features in Microsoft AI products
• Collaborate with internal and customer stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Design and implement extensibility features for AI agents to interact with enterprise systems
• Own delivery of key extensibility features like agent publishing and multi-agent architecture improvements
• Establish engineering best practices including CI/CD, telemetry, and quality assurance

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages like C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience
• 4+ years of experience designing, building, and managing high-scale full-stack systems including authentication, microservices, distributed systems, and AI services
• Ability to meet Microsoft security screening requirements including Microsoft Cloud Background Check
• Experience with AI, cloud-based architectural patterns and best practices

Nice to Have:

• Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 5+ years technical engineering experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience
