About the Role

Senior Software Engineer role building hyperscale solutions for Microsoft Azure's OneFleet team to manage infrastructure across multiple clouds. Focus on backend engineering to support capacity management for AI and supercomputing workloads. Requires US Government Top Secret Clearance with SCI and Polygraph.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborates with stakeholders to determine business requirements
• Drives identification of dependencies and development of design documents
• Creates, implements, optimizes, debugs, and reuses code for performance and maintainability
• Acts as Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) guiding other engineers and monitoring systems
• Proactively seeks new knowledge to improve availability, reliability, and efficiency of products

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field
• 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
• Active U.S. Government Top Secret Clearance with SCI based on SSBI with Polygraph
• U.S. citizenship verification required

Nice to Have:

• 4+ years of experience with PowerShell, C#, or C++
• Experience working on large-scale distributed services with on-call responsibilities
• Ability to build and influence broadly towards common goals and priorities
• Ownership of end-to-end project lifecycle with solid project management skills
