About the Role

Senior Software Engineer (AI/ML) role at Microsoft's Worldwide Fleet Resources Lifecycle Management team. Responsible for integrating AI/ML solutions into hardware onboarding and fleet management systems. Focuses on designing, deploying, and scaling intelligent tools to optimize Azure cloud operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify requirements and develop scalable systems
• Develop and deploy scalable AI/ML tools and algorithms to enhance efficiency
• Optimize AI/ML models for performance and ensure seamless production integration
• Serve as Designated Responsible Individual for monitoring and troubleshooting production systems
• Follow organizational policies for security, privacy, safety, and accessibility standards

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience
• 1+ years experience designing, deploying, and scaling AI/ML solutions on cloud platforms
• 1+ years experience in production operations and lifecycle management of AI/ML systems using MLOps/LLMOps
• Ability to pass Microsoft Cloud Background Check security screening

Nice to Have:

• Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience OR Master's Degree AND 6+ years experience
• Proven experience designing end-to-end AI/ML solutions integrated into products and services
• Expertise in compliance requirements, data governance, security best practices, and responsible AI
• Strong foundation in machine learning principles, deep learning, NLP, and generative AI
• Experience with ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow) and multi-agent AI applications (AutoGen, LangChain)
• Experience with containers (Docker) and orchestration tools like Kubernetes
• Experience with large datasets and data processing frameworks (Apache Spark, Hadoop)
• Experience mentoring engineers and data scientists
