Senior Software Development Engineer role on Amazon's Sponsored Products and Brands team, focusing on deploying ML and GenAI technologies at scale to transform advertising experiences. The position involves leading technical strategy, collaborating with scientists, and delivering high-quality software in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end to end deployment of ML and GenAI technology at scale
• Manage project prioritization, deliverables, and timelines
• Evaluate trade-offs, educate team on best practices, and influence technical strategy
• Collaborate closely with Applied Scientists to investigate experiments and prototype new technology
• Communicate effectively with both technical and business partners

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team

Nice to Have:

• 5+ years of full software development life cycle experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Experience in online advertising with familiarity of advertising products and ad serving technologies
• Experience designing, developing, optimizing, and maintaining machine learning systems at scale
