About the Role

Senior Software Development Engineer joining the Gen AI & Strategic Initiatives team at Amazon Luna to architect and build AI-powered gaming experiences and productivity tools. This role involves designing scalable platform infrastructure, creating unified APIs for multiple AI providers, and implementing agentic workflows across engineering and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive platform architecture decisions and translate model requirements into scalable capabilities
• Build and operate high-scale API infrastructure using AWS API Gateway for multiple AI service providers
• Design and implement comprehensive observability, monitoring, and operational excellence systems
• Create developer tools, SDKs, documentation, and technical demos to accelerate platform adoption
• Implement enterprise-grade security, compliance, and resource management systems

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems
• Experience with AWS or cloud technologies

Nice to Have:

• 5+ years of full software development life cycle experience
• Experience building large-scale machine learning and AI solutions at Internet scale
• Master's degree in Computer Science or related technical field
• 6+ years of game industry experience
