About the Role

Lead research and development of AI-driven hiring solutions at Amazon. Design and execute global research projects, develop innovative assessment tools, and apply psychometrics and machine learning to improve hiring accuracy and fairness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute large-scale global research and validation projects
  • Solve complex measurement, legal defensibility, and experimental design challenges
  • Lead development of new AI-based assessment approaches and content
  • Apply scientific method to answer novel research questions
  • Influence executive sponsors and stakeholders across the company

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

  • 5+ years applying scientific principles to business problems
  • PhD or Master's degree with 5+ years quantitative field research
  • Experience communicating qualitative research to non-qualitative researchers
  • Knowledge of R or Python
  • 5 years experience in applied selection practices, job analysis, test development, and validation

Nice to Have:

  • PhD in Industrial-Organizational Psychology or related field
  • 5-10+ years experience in applied selection practices, job analysis, test development, and validation
  • Strong internal consulting skills and track record of influencing stakeholders
  • Experience applying machine learning and AI to selection research
  • Familiarity with GenAI tools and Large Language Models (LLMs)
