About the Role

AlphaSights seeks a Senior QA Automation Engineer to lead automated testing solutions across their platform. The role involves designing test frameworks, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring high-quality releases. This is a remote position for Brazilian citizens.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of automated test plans and frameworks
• Mentor and guide junior QA engineers
• Maintain and scale test automation infrastructure
• Perform targeted manual testing including exploratory and UI/UX verification
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to define test strategies

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• Experience in a mature Engineering team at a similar level
• Technical expertise in automated test frameworks with tools like Cypress or Playwright
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, or Java
• Proven track record of impact and proactive problem-solving

Nice to Have:

• Experience setting up or scaling automation frameworks from scratch
• Experience with performance, load, or security testing tools
• Track record of mentoring or leading QA teams
• Experience with native mobile app testing, Kubernetes, microservices, or cloud infrastructure
