About the Role

Senior Maintenance Manager role at Amazon leading a large site-based maintenance team of 80+ people in North American fulfillment centers. Responsible for maximizing equipment uptime, implementing reliability plans, and overseeing maintenance operations in a fast-paced distribution environment. Requires extensive facilities management experience and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor site-based Maintenance Managers and Area Maintenance Managers
• Develop and implement Maintenance Department business plans and reliability strategies
• Drive maintenance best practices, safety standards, and key performance indicators
• Oversee budget development, capital planning, and vendor relationships
• Recruit, interview, and hire talent for maintenance leadership roles

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• 10+ years managing large complex facilities organizations
• 7+ years senior management and leadership responsibilities
• BS in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or related discipline with 4+ years maintenance experience
• Experience leading maintenance teams of 80+ employees including salaried staff

Nice to Have:

• MBA or other Master's degree and/or Six Sigma Black Belt Certification
• Professional Engineering registration
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel, AutoCAD, MS Project, and SQL
• Exposure to Lean Concepts, TOC, layout design, and cost/benefit analysis
