About the Role

Senior Maintenance Manager leading a large maintenance team at Amazon's fulfillment centers to maximize equipment uptime and execute maintenance projects. Responsible for developing reliability plans, implementing best practices, managing budgets, and overseeing maintenance operations across multiple sites. Requires leadership experience with 80+ employees and expertise in maintenance management and workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead site-based maintenance team of 80+ people including Maintenance Managers and Area Maintenance Managers
• Develop and implement reliability plans to increase facility uptime and maintenance best practices
• Manage budget development, execution, capital planning, and contract documents
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and performance management for maintenance teams
• Oversee maintenance acceptance of large-scale, complex projects and equipment commissioning

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• BS in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or related discipline OR BS/BA with 4+ years maintenance experience OR 2+ years Amazon experience
• Previous corporate/regional maintenance roles leading 80+ employees including salaried staff
• Experience leading change and maintenance teams in multiple site environments
• 7+ years experience managing employees and their performance

Nice to Have:

• MBA or other Master's degree and/or Six Sigma Black Belt Certification
• Professional Engineering registration
• Exposure to Lean Concepts, TOC, layout design, cost/benefit analysis
• Strong knowledge of major MHE integrators and material handling equipment
