About the Role

Senior Maintenance Manager leads a large maintenance team at Amazon's fulfillment centers, focusing on maximizing equipment uptime and implementing reliability plans. The role involves managing budgets, developing business plans, and overseeing maintenance execution across multiple sites. Candidates must have extensive experience in maintenance leadership and be willing to relocate.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor site-based Maintenance Managers and Area Maintenance Managers
• Develop and implement Maintenance Department business plans and reliability strategies
• Drive maintenance best practices, safety standards, and key performance indicator analysis
• Oversee budget development, capital planning, and vendor relationships
• Recruit, interview, and hire talent for maintenance roles

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• BS in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or related field, or BS/BA with 4+ years maintenance experience or 2+ years Amazon experience
• Previous corporate/regional maintenance roles leading 80+ employees including salaried staff
• Experience leading change and maintenance teams in multiple site environments
• 7+ years' experience managing employees and performance

Nice to Have:

• Strong communication, teambuilding, and influencing skills
• Experience with material handling equipment and large integrated systems maintenance
• Exposure to Lean Concepts, TOC, layout design, and statistical analysis
• MBA, Master's degree, Six Sigma Black Belt, or Professional Engineering registration
