Senior Infrastructure Engineer role at Polymath Robotics, designing and scaling infrastructure for autonomous vehicle software. Responsibilities include architecting distributed systems, implementing observability, and ensuring reliability across cloud and edge environments. Requires 5+ years experience with production infrastructure and distributed systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain core infrastructure services for robot fleet and backend systems
• Define how systems communicate, authenticate, and scale between cloud and edge
• Own observability infrastructure including metrics, logging, alerting, and uptime
• Develop and optimize data storage and querying solutions
• Create robust strategies for backup, recovery, and disaster resilience

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• 5+ years of experience building and scaling production infrastructure systems
• Proven track record with distributed systems, containers, and cloud infrastructure
• Deep knowledge of Prometheus, PostgreSQL, and data pipeline design
• Strong coding and automation skills in Python, Go, Bash or equivalent
