About the Role

Senior Firmware Engineer role focused on developing embedded firmware for intelligent consumer devices. Responsibilities include optimizing low-power performance, integrating sensors and connectivity, and enabling real-time AI on resource-constrained hardware. Collaboration with cross-disciplinary teams to bring innovative ideas from prototype to product.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and optimize wake word recognition for on-device AI
  • Develop firmware support for Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity modules
  • Handle real-time processing of audio and visual data on embedded hardware
  • Respond to incidents by troubleshooting and deploying fixes
  • Improve system development and operations through design reviews and best practices

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 5+ years technical engineering experience (or equivalent)
  • Strong experience developing embedded firmware on SoCs from Realtek, BES, Qualcomm, or similar platforms
  • Deep understanding of low-power and real-time constraints
  • Proven experience in firmware development for wearable devices such as smart glasses or TWS earbuds
