About the Role

Senior Financial Analyst role supporting AWS Data Center Engineering teams, providing financial analysis and recommendations for data center design innovations. The position involves financial planning, business analysis, and partnering with engineering teams to optimize data center designs for cost, sustainability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as key business partner to Design Engineering, Innovation and Controls teams
• Develop ad-hoc business analysis and present recommendations to senior management
• Manage financial planning and analysis efforts and forecast metrics
• Report on financial performance and prepare weekly/monthly/annual reviews
• Monitor compliance with controls and develop new processes for global business

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• 3+ years of tax, finance or related analytical field experience
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics or related analytical field
• Experience with financial analysis and business partnership
• Experience with financial planning and forecasting

Nice to Have:

• MBA or CPA
• Knowledge of Tableau
• 4+ years of process improvement experience
• Six Sigma Black Belt
• Experience with SQL for data mining
• Experience with large-scale data mining tools (SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos)
• 3+ years of applying KPIs to analyses experience
