About the Role

Senior Financial Analyst role partnering with AWS Data Center Planning and Delivery to drive strategic decisions and cost savings initiatives. The position involves analyzing operational performance, establishing targets, and leading cross-functional projects to deliver data center capacity on-time and on-budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish annual/monthly performance targets and analyze variances to plan
• Become subject matter expert for data center electrical and mechanical equipment
• Pinpoint defects in processes and drive new processes and automation
• Identify and lead cost savings initiatives
• Participate in supplier contract drafting and remove business risk

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• 3+ years of tax, finance or related analytical field experience
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics or related analytical field
• Experience with quantitative analysis and process improvement
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Nice to Have:

• MBA or CPA certification
• Knowledge of Tableau
• Experience with large-scale data mining tools (SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos)
• 4+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs)
• Six Sigma Black Belt certification
