About the Role

The Senior Deep Learning Architect works at AWS's Generative AI Innovation Center, helping customers implement generative AI solutions to solve real-world business problems. This role involves designing and developing state-of-the-art generative AI solutions, collaborating with customers, and providing technical guidance on adoption patterns and production deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with AI/ML scientists and architects to research, design, develop, and evaluate generative AI solutions
• Interact with customers directly to understand business problems and guide implementation of generative AI solutions
• Create and deliver best practice recommendations, tutorials, blog posts, sample code, and presentations
• Provide customer and market feedback to product and engineering teams to help define product direction
• Design and run experiments, research new algorithms, and optimize risk, profitability, and customer experience

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or related technical field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of experience designing, building, and/or operating cloud solutions in production
• 4+ years experience hosting and deploying ML solutions (training, fine tuning, inference)
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Python to build, train, and evaluate models
• 4+ years of technical client engagement experience
• Ability to communicate in a business setting in English

Nice to Have:

• Masters or PhD degree in computer science or related technical field
• 3+ years experience working with deep learning, machine learning, generative AI, or statistics
• Experience building generative AI applications on AWS using services like Amazon Bedrock and Amazon SageMaker
• Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive stakeholders
• Experience building cloud solutions with AWS
