About the Role

Senior Data Scientist role focused on building practical machine learning systems for restaurant operations optimization. You'll own ML projects end-to-end from framing to production deployment, working with real-time data and AI predictive analytics. This position emphasizes business impact through improved margins, efficiency, and decision-making for hospitality customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Own ML end-to-end from problem framing to production deployment and monitoring
• Apply statistical and ML rigour with appropriate tool selection and clear explanations
• Build systems with monitoring and retraining capabilities for sustained value
• Collaborate with product teams to embed ML into commercial products
• Focus on business impact through improved margins and operational efficiency

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• Proven end-to-end ownership of ML systems shipped to production multiple times
• Strong classical ML foundation in forecasting, regression, classification, and feature engineering
• Statistical and experimental thinking with practical outcome focus
• Hands-on technical skills in Python, scikit-learn, pandas, LightGBM, cloud infrastructure, and modern data tools

Nice to Have:

• Experience in lean data teams with high ownership cultures
• Background in B2B SaaS or operational domains like logistics or supply chain
• Exposure to LLMs or modern NLP approaches
