About the Role

Senior Data Scientist role focused on applying generative AI to solve real-world business problems for AWS customers. You'll design and implement state-of-the-art solutions, collaborate with customers on implementation, and create best practices for generative AI adoption.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with AI/ML scientists to research, design, develop, and evaluate generative AI solutions
• Interact with customers to understand business problems and guide them on generative AI implementation
• Create and deliver best practice recommendations, tutorials, blog posts, and sample code
• Provide customer and market feedback to product and engineering teams
• Design and run experiments, research new algorithms, and optimize solutions

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• Bachelor's degree and 8 years experience OR Master's degree and 4 years experience
• 2+ years hands-on experience with generative AI technology
• 5+ years experience in algorithms, data structures, optimization, data mining, or machine learning
• 5+ years hands-on experience with Python for building, training, and evaluating models
• 4+ years technical client engagement experience

Nice to Have:

• Masters or PhD in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or quantitative field
• Experience building generative AI applications on AWS using Bedrock and SageMaker
• Experience with LLM-powered agents, tools, and orchestration approaches
