Key Responsibilities

  • Apply advanced analytics, AI/ML, and statistical concepts to derive insights from massive datasets
  • Design experiments, build models, and develop metrics to evaluate system strengths and weaknesses
  • Build dashboards to automate data collection and reporting for system performance transparency
  • Write detailed reports and provide actionable recommendations to maximize customer impact
  • Coach and mentor junior scientists in the team

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

  • 5+ years of data scientist or similar role experience involving data extraction, analysis, statistical modeling, and communication
  • 5+ years of experience with data querying languages (e.g., SQL), scripting languages (e.g., Python), or statistical/mathematical software (e.g., R, SAS, Matlab)
  • Master's degree in a quantitative field (or Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience)
  • Experience with statistical models (e.g., multinomial logistic regression)
  • Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools

Nice to Have:

  • Experience managing data pipelines
  • Experience as a leader and mentor on a data science team
  • Experience working with scientists, economists, software developers, or product managers
  • Experience working collaboratively with data engineers and business intelligence engineers
