About the Role

Senior Business Intelligence Engineer role at Amazon's Pricing & Promotions Science, Data, and Insights organization. Develops automated analytics, insights, and anomaly detection tools to optimize pricing and promotions. Uses data, analytics, and LLMs to drive decision-making and strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead business intelligence for the business and its customers
• Develop, build, and deliver analytical reporting, models, and business strategy
• Conduct deep dive analyses and present recommendations to senior leadership
• Leverage LLMs to generate insights and drive growth discussions with Product teams
• Improve back-end data sources for increased accuracy and simplicity

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• 10+ years of professional or military experience
• 5+ years of SQL experience
• Experience with AWS technologies
• Experience programming to extract, transform and clean large (multi-TB) data sets

Nice to Have:

• Experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate between data and business needs
• Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership
• Experience using AWS services such as EC2, S3, Glue, Redshift, QuickSight, Lookout, Bedrock, Lambda, Step functions and SageMaker

• Base salary ranging from $97,400/year to $162,600/year
