About the Role
Senior Azure Advanced Customer Engineer focused on strategic Azure customers, responsible for resolving complex technical issues and driving customer support experience. Acts as primary engineering contact, orchestrates deep engagements in incident management, and serves as voice of customer within Azure.Key Responsibilities
- Track customer incidents and troubleshoot to reduce mitigation time for critical issues
- Use engineering tools to detect issue trends and share insights with customers
- Serve as connecting point between product teams and customers throughout engagement lifecycle
- Conduct root cause analysis and translate findings into improvement opportunities
- Partner with teams to prioritize and resolve critical customer issues
Required Skills & Qualifications
Must Have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Data Analytics/Science, AI, or related field AND 4+ years experience in technology industry, cloud, technical support, or customer experience engineering OR equivalent experience
- 4+ years experience supporting enterprise-level mission-critical applications and infrastructure
- 2+ years experience with on-call and driving mitigation for mission critical incidents
- Ability to pass Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire and every two years
Nice to Have:
- Hands-on expertise in Core IaaS: Compute, Storage, Networking, Kubernetes, High Availability
- Experience with Data Platform and Bigdata: Azure SQL DB, Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL on Azure, Azure Data Bricks, Azure Data Factory, AI/ML
- Knowledge of Azure PaaS Services: App Services, Azure Functions, Redis Cache, Event Hub
- Familiarity with monitoring technologies: Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Grafana, Datadog, Confluent
