About the Role

Senior Applied Scientist role focused on designing and evaluating autonomous AI agents at the intersection of AI, experimentation, and enterprise systems. The position involves developing advanced fine-tuning techniques like RLHF, leading rapid experimentation cycles, and collaborating across teams to build performant AI-native business applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute high-leverage data science and analytics initiatives to improve user and business outcomes
• Design and implement advanced model fine-tuning pipelines including RLHF
• Own complex end-to-end projects with cross-functional collaboration
• Develop robust measurement systems and experimentation frameworks for AI systems
• Leverage AI to streamline workflows and enhance team productivity

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field with 4+ years experience
• OR Master's Degree with 3+ years experience
• OR Doctorate with 1+ years experience
• 1+ year experience developing and deploying live production systems as part of a product team
• Ability to pass Microsoft Cloud background check

Nice to Have:

• 3+ years experience creating publications (patents, libraries, peer-reviewed papers)
• Experience presenting at conferences as invited speaker
• 3+ years experience conducting research in academic or industry settings
• 1+ year experience developing and deploying products through full product cycle
