About the Role

Senior Advanced Cloud Engineer focused on US government customers, providing engineering-led support for Azure cloud services. Responsible for resolving critical technical issues, driving customer incident management, and serving as the voice of customers within Azure engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Track customer incidents and troubleshoot through diagnostics to reduce mitigation time
  • Use engineering tools and customer telemetry to detect issue patterns and share best practices
  • Serve as connecting point between product teams and customers throughout engagement lifecycle
  • Handle complex escalations and conduct in-depth root cause analysis of issues
  • Act as voice of customers and synthesize product feedback to provide input on business plans

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Data Analytics/Science, AI or related field AND 4+ years' experience in technology industry
  • 4+ years experience supporting enterprise level, mission-critical applications and infrastructure
  • 2+ years experience with on-call and driving mitigation for mission critical incidents
  • U.S. citizenship verification required due to government customer support

Nice to Have:

  • Ability or willingness to acquire/maintain US Government Clearance
  • Technical expertise in Cloud technologies: Core IaaS, Data Platform, Azure PaaS Services, Monitoring
  • Prior experience working with US Federal/State/Local Governments
  • Demonstrated ability to empathize with customers and explain technical issues to varied audiences
