About the Role

The Risk Analyst II role involves analyzing data to detect and prevent fraudulent activity on Amazon's platform. Responsibilities include developing rules to stop bad actors, creating dashboards, and leveraging GenAI for long-term solutions. The position requires collaboration with product managers, scientists, and engineers to maintain account integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze large data sets to identify patterns and develop attributes for automated rules
• Create, maintain, and improve data sets, pipelines, and reporting for KPIs and goals
• Design alarm systems and derive actionable insights using quantitative analysis and data visualization
• Own the design, development, and maintenance of metrics, reports, and dashboards using SQL and BI tools
• Communicate complex analysis and insights to stakeholders and business leaders

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• 4+ years of compliance program management, legal, governance, audit, risk/loss prevention, or equivalent experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Experience handling confidential information
• Experience with SQL and Excel

Nice to Have:

• 3+ years of program requirements definition and data/metrics leveraging to drive improvements experience
• Demonstrated experience using scripting languages like R or Python
• Basic understanding of Machine Learning and ability to leverage Gen AI tools
